May 2026: Growing Visibility and Deepening Impact

Every month tells a story, and May's story is one of growing connections. We are meeting more people, building deeper relationships, and seeing again that life change happens through trust and consistent support.

""The most powerful resource we can offer is not a program, but a relationship that helps someone believe a different future is possible.""

Every month tells a story, and May's story is one of growing connections. We are meeting more people, building deeper relationships, and seeing again that life change happens through trust and consistent support.

Reaching Neighbors Where They Are

In May, we served 392 unique neighbors, a 6% increase over April. Much of that growth came through street outreach, where we connected with 347 individuals.

Our approach remains centered on visibility. On the street, the only qualification for receiving support is need. Many of the neighbors we encounter are older adults, and they play an important role in our mission. By treating people with dignity and sharing donated food, clothing, and practical resources, we build the trust that helps us reach "hidden" young adults who often stay out of sight for safety and survival.

Deepening Relationships Through Core Programs

While outreach is available to everyone, our facility-based programs focus on young adults under 29 who are experiencing homelessness, are at risk of homelessness, or are rebuilding after homelessness.

Steady Core Mission

The number of young adults in our primary target group remained steady at 83 individuals, demonstrating the consistency of our core mission.

New Young Faces

We met 17 new young adults during May, up 13% from April.

Growing Engagement

The number of deeply engaged clients grew to 32 individuals, an increase of 10%. These are young people who continue to lean into guidance, community, and consistent support.

Meeting Immediate Needs

Nearly every neighbor we encountered, whether through outreach or at our facility, received donated food or clothing to help meet immediate needs while working toward greater stability.

The Power of Steady Relationships

The data continues to confirm what we see every day: trusted relationships are the engine of life change.

Preliminary analysis for May shows that deeply engaged clients are 27.6 times more likely to achieve major life change milestonesβ€”defined as six or more significant goalsβ€”than those who have not yet committed to deeper guidance and community.

Emergency assistance is important, but lasting change requires something more. It requires trust, encouragement, accountability, and people who continue to walk alongside one another.

Thank you for being part of that village. Through your support, young adults are moving beyond the crisis of homelessness and building stable futures through education, employment, and healthy community.
