The speaker recounts enjoying an electrical-engineering career before changing direction in response to a calling to serve young adults experiencing homelessness. He describes valuing a consistent, caring presence and encourages listeners to explore their own calling in community.

His account of a ministry day includes team planning, outreach, help with benefits, donated art supplies and a prayer vigil for people grieving a loss. These examples describe the speaker’s reported experiences in the recording, rather than current program availability or proof of lasting client outcomes.
