This Street Youth Ministry reflection describes a historical pandemic response involving remote contact and an outdoor drop-by team offering food, clothing and conversation. A client’s idea of trying a short creative activity each day inspires a proposed challenge for the ministry community.

The speaker also recounts a conversation with a distressed client who received practical help and reportedly expressed joy after noticing people serving others. The account describes that person’s reported experience; it does not establish a clinical effect or a lasting change in circumstances. Pandemic arrangements described here belong to the period of the recording.
